How To Work Out An Office Look

When you say ‘office outfit’, you’d immediately think of trouser suits and dull colours. Even if you don’t work in an office, you can still dress up office-inspired. You can work from home but perhaps you need to participate in regular meetings so putting an effort into appearance is an important part.

All right, I mentioned this a couple of times already on my blog but trousers suits have gotten a makeover and now I see them in a different light and not stiff and boring. You can still make them appear casual by wearing flats, or dress up with heels or you can even make them boyish or flirty. Depending on the workplace, you can choose bright colours or tune it down with muted colours.

By changing the blazer for another jacket, you can achieve a totally different look. Mixing textures can present a fun challenge. Suede or velvet jacket can be a great shield from the cold of the season as well.  Kimonos or bomber jackets are better in offices where dress codes aren’t so strict but more creative.

Heels are what we are used to seeing in office environment but more and more women choose flats since running errands feel better in those. It is good to feel your feet after a long day at work and you can easily find some that work the best.
Add a little accessory to top everything off. Neck scarves are everywhere around and from all the patterns and colours, and from the unlimited ways of wearing one, you are bound to find one to suit you. Don’t forget jewelry and you have the perfect and complete look.
