Cargo pants were a trend that was highly loved in the 90s and as a lot of fashion style from that period is coming back this year, it is not strange to find that cargo trousers are one of them (belt bags are one other). Maybe these pants were mostly worn as casual look with sneakers and a basic top back then but not today. While it is clear why they are popular amongst women- they look comfortable- imagine them being a type of joggers that are excellent to wear anywhere else than to chill in front of the screen. With a little imagination you can find a few interesting women’s cargo pants outfit ideas and bring back one of the 90s staple fashion pieces.
Why not start with the original and give a little praise to the 90s fashion? Pairing the trousers with a basic short or long sleeved top and a pair of sneakers with a backpack is a very chill out look to go for. Play with newer trends and throw on a bomber jacket. This is the outfit I would gladly wear for everyday when I don’t have anything specific planned.
Get out of the sporty look and pick a stripe top and put on slip ons or ankle boots. Again, add something new- or old- a beret or a belt bag. It is interesting that both accessories are a representer of 90s fashion as well.
Believe it or not but cargo trousers can be paired with pieces that can make an outfit to appear more feminine. Tuck in a delicate blouse, add a pair of heels and a short handle bag. If the look is too simple or the tones of the outfit are the same, I would add a jewelry or two to balance out the look.
Any look can be leveled up by adding a blazer. It can be a classic black blazer or a military inspired one with golden buttons. It depends on the occasion you would like to get dressed up. Wear classic black or nude pumps or dare to wear something bold- leopard print for example. If you want people to remember you, dress to impress.
